The Spanish international defender could return to Spain despite receiving significant interest from Premier League teams.

Los Blancos sent a formal contract offer to the player’s representatives to expedite a deal, but an agreement has not yet been reached.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal is “in regular contact” to capitalize on any potential “collapse” in Dean Huijsen’s transfer to Real Madrid.
The Gunners are looking for a new centre-back in the summer transfer market to provide backup for Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported earlier this week that Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea are all willing to pay Huijsen a £50 million release clause.
However, the Spanish international “dreams” of leaving Bournemouth to join La Liga giants Real Madrid this summer, and a move now appears imminent.
Before Romano revealed that the Premier League trio of clubs had missed Huijsen, Bournemouth gave the green light to a deal.
Romano said on X: “Bournemouth have approved Real Madrid conditions for Dean Huijsen’s deal, with £50m release clause to be paid by the end of 2026. The Deal is done, club to club.”
Romano has given Arsenal fans hope of landing Huijsen if a deal with Real Madrid fails to go through.
